...with a wheelbarrow, a trowel and some hand tools. Merely through word of mouth, our work has expanded throughout the Mid Coast Maine region.

The Trombone Playing Mason

Even while building the business Stonebone Design owner Sebastian has not neglected his roots in music and has kept a busy schedule performing around the state. Wearing Carhardts and work boots during the day, after work he often changes into a tuxedo and is off again at night for a jazz gig or a Symphony concert. “Music is and always will be a part of my life. It is relaxation, mental exercise and inspiration all at once. There is a strong influence of music on all my design work. I’m always trying to capture the essence of form, balance, rhythm and melody in my design projects.”

Playing trombone at night and working with stone during the day - thus the name STONEBONE was born.
